Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) exam with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year teaching Diploma in Elementary Education. (OR)
Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) exam with minimum 45% marks and passed or appeared in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education according to the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations-2002.(OR)
Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) exam with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education. (OR)
Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) exam with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Teaching Education). (OR)
Post Graduation Candidates with a minimum 55% mark and 3-year integrated B.Ed/ M.Ed. (OR)
Passed Graduation with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and passed 1-year Bachelor in Education. (OR)
Passed Graduation in any stream (B.A/B.Sc/ B.com/etc) with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Important Notice For B.Ed Degree Candidates (Only for Primary Level)
Candidates who have obtained the B.Ed degree from any NCTE-recognized institution need to (mandatorily) undergo a 6-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) within 2-year after being appointed as a primary teacher.
Note: The notice of the bridge course is being told only for information, it will be needed when you become a teacher by passing the CTET/UP TET, Super TET Exam, Interview, and other eligibility criteria.
CTET Eligibility For Junior Level (Class VI To VIII)
Passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) exam with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). (OR)
