Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced UPSSSC Pharmacist Recruitment 2026 for Pharmacist (Bheshajik) posts in the Health Department.

Pharmacist duties include dispensing medicines as per prescriptions, managing drug inventory and storage, maintaining pharmacy records and ledgers, ensuring drug safety and expiry checks, providing patient counselling on medicine use and side effects, and supporting medical teams in hospitals, PHCs, CHCs, and dispensaries across Uttar Pradesh.

Can final year D.Pharm students apply?

There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the Main Written Examination. Each question carries 1 mark, so one-fourth mark will be deducted for an incorrect response. Unattempted questions do not attract negative marking.

Candidates must be domicile of Uttar Pradesh. A domicile certificate issued by the competent authority of the UP Government is mandatory during the application and document verification. Candidates from other states are not eligible unless they possess a valid UP domicile certificate.
