UPESSC has released the detailed Notification for UPTET 2026 for Primary (Class 1–5) and Upper Primary (Class 6–8) levels. This exam is important for candidates who want to become teachers in Uttar Pradesh.

The online application will start from 27 March 2026, and OTR is mandatory before applying. The exam will be conducted from 2 to 4 July 2026. Complete details are given below.

Application Process

  1. Complete your One Time Registration (OTR) on the official portal. This step is mandatory before applying.
  2. After that, read the Information Booklet, User Manual, and Tutorial carefully from the official website to avoid mistakes.
  3. Fill the online application form from 27 March 2026 and enter all details correctly.
  4. Upload required documents like photo, ID proof, and category certificate.
  5. Pay the application fee online and submit the form. Then download the final form for future use.
  6. If needed, you can make corrections in your form till 1 May 2026.
  7. The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts, and normalisation will be applied if required.
