KVS Class 1 Admission Process
KVS admissions are conducted through a transparent lottery system in accordance with the official priority rules. Seats are filled step-by-step in the following order:
- RTE Lottery: First, 25% seats (around 10 seats) are filled under the RTE quota
- CwSN Lottery: Then, seats are allotted to Children with Special Needs (priority-wise)
- Priority 1–2: Children of Central Govt/ Defence employees
- SC / ST / OBC-NCL: Remaining reserved category seats (if any shortfall)
- Priority 3–5: Other categories, if seats are still vacant
